If you’ve ever fallen in love, then this short movie is your story being played out. Jacob Kipping has achieved an outstanding feat within 15 minutes of screenplay that is achingly beautiful. The racing of your heart as you merely think of the person you’re in love with, the heady senseless sensation that makes everything else go around and the excruciating pain that only comes from hurt and despair has been so beautifully captured in the direction that it is of little surprise that the actors could emote it so effortlessly.
Tom Stoker’s performance as the Mime is close to being phenomenal. The subtleness he has managed to bring to his performance which is nearly devoid of any dialogues makes it incredibly easy for the audience to swell through the assault that comes only with love! And, you almost hear yourself clap in triumph when he manages to squall out those poignant words that conclude the story.With a miniscule ensemble of just three, Jacob Kipping has ensured that three is not always a crowd… With each actor given a character that is imperative to carrying forward the narrative, it is reaffirmed that to deliver a performance, you don’t require a lengthy screen time.

The piece played out trickles into your subconscious without even making you aware of its doing, until it slows down in tempo or comes to an abrupt halt. It is only then that you realize the significant contribution it has made to the movie.

The direction, costume designing and cinematography need to be lauded for bringing out a story that would have been lost into the archive as one of the regular, overly narrated & familiarized stories in such a refreshing manner, that it’s almost a crime to miss this one!
If your heart beats for someone, this movie will pulse for you.
And, if your heart doesn’t beat for someone, then too this movie will seep into your system, somewhere, for it to surface when you do fall in love.
